As part of out efforts to better communicate with our members, we just put up the IndiaLD blog. This will replace our news page. While the old news page had a certain quaintness and quiet dignity about itself, a full on Word Press blog complete with RSS feeds and all the bells and whistles will do a better job.
Look for service announcements, product enhancements, and ways to get the most out of your IndiaLD account here.
If you found that some of our competitors amazing 1 cent rates weren’t really a penny a minute, well come on back. We’re still here with same great low rates that we have always offered to call India, and waiting for your business again.

We have created a new contact form as part of our efforts to improve our customer service. From now on, all customer service inquiries must be submitted here:
http://www.indiald.com/contact/contact.php
The new process has a series of customized forms which will collect specific information necessary to complete support requests as quickly as possible. We have also changed our customer contact software to Mailtank which is a big improvement over our old service.
We are no longer taking support requests through email.
This should help us speed up processing customer support requests, and reduce the amount of time it takes to get back to you. If you are still waiting for a response to a request submitted via email or through our old form, we will get back to you. You do not need to send another request in.
IndiaLD is committed to improving our customer service response time and providing you with a high level of support. Thanks for bearing with us while we upgrade our customer care.

We hope you big talkers out there take advantage of the new low rates and call India more than ever.
Now let’s introduce two new plans, the India 500 Minute and the India 1500 Minute Plans.
The India 500 minute plan is $11.95 per month, and let’s light callers call India for a great rate of 2.4 cents per minute.
The India 1500 minute plan is $23.85 per month, which is just 1.59 cents per minute.
A lot of our users wanted either more or fewer minutes than our popular India 1000 plan. These two plans should fill the gaps nicely. With the India 1500 Plan’s super low 1.59 cent rate, you guys can now get 500 more minutes than the India 1000 for only $3.90 more per month. What a deal!
Existing accounts that want to change their plan to take advantage of these new offers should submit the Upgrade/Downgrade Contact Form with their account number and the new plan they want to change to. Please include whether you want the change to take effect immediately, or at the end of the month. If you are upgrading immediately, you will be charged the difference between the cost of your current plan and the new plan in order to upgrade your minutes.

You globe trotters out there with family, friends, and colleagues all over the world can now use your monthly minutes to call 27 other countries.
We have opened calling up to the list of countries below. If mobile is listed next to the country, you can call mobile phones in that country. Otherwise you can only call landlines.
Calling these countries works just like calling India. We just deduct minutes from your monthly balance. If you are over your minutes, then you will be billed at 3.9 cents per minute to call, just like with India.
Enjoy the expanded service, and know that India LD is working hard to keep the South Asian diaspora in touch.

On April 20th, we are disconnecting our original access numbers and auto dial phone numbers. We were not happy with the quality and scalability of these lines, and have moved to another company that can provide better service.
We are keeping the old lines open until April 20th, but after that all calls must go through our new primary access number (949) 259-9999 and new auto dial numbers. The access number being turned off is (424) 757-1111.
Auto dial numbers are going to switch over on the 20th at 12:00 AM EST. Please keep using your current auto dial numbers until then. If you already have auto dial numbers that begin with (949) 259-998X then you will not be affected by this switch.
To help customers prepare, below is a list of what your auto dial numbers are going to be changed to.
