Calling Issues

July 19th, 2009

We are aware that there are some problems calling India right now. One of our carriers is having issues. We are in the process of isolating the problem and changing our routing to avoid the problem carrier.

    Hi There,
    I am interested in using your service. As you are aware, incoming calls to Singapore mobiles are free. Using your service, is there a way to include a callback service as well to fully utilize my mobile operator?

    Thanks alot

    @Boniface Lobo
    The Singapore number is working fine. Please try it again.

    @Affaque
    We do not offer calling from Dubai. The UAE only allows international calling from their two local phone companies.

    @harpreet singh pnag
    Our voice problems have been cleared up. One of the carriers that we have been using for months started having problems. We have since taken them out of the rotation until quality improves.

    hi,
    i m trying to call germany from US but unable too ,plz tell me why?
    thanks

  9. July 23rd, 2009 at 14:01 | #9

    @jihtu
    Call our access number, if prompted enter your account number, then dial the number. Make sure you include 011 then the country code (most international destinations) or 01 plus the area code (US and Canada).

  10. July 23rd, 2009 at 14:01 | #10

    @dee
    Make sure you are calling a landline. We do not allow calling to German mobiles. If you are calling a landline, enter 01149 plus the German number.

  11. July 23rd, 2009 at 14:21 | #11

    @Ranjani
    We do not offer callback as a calling option. You will need to call our local access number in Singapore. If we had to bear the cost of the local and international call then our rates would be much higher than they are.

    I liked the service in the begining as it was nice and clear when the calls were made to India but now it is not clear at all. I am thinking to discontinue the service after the end of billing session.

    @Krishna Kumar
    To call the US in our system you need to start your dialing with 01 then the area code. Do not use 1 or 011.

    @Nittu
    @Jagjit Sadiura

    Guys can you tell me whether you are calling a landline or mobile. If its a landline, let me know what state you are calling. If its a mobile, let me know what carrier its on.

    Our calling stats to India look very good right now, but sometimes there can be specific problems with local terminations. Giving us more info can help.

    Hi,

    Can I call New Zealand from USA using the same access number? I actually tried this but I get the message “Invalid Number”. I am calling Mobile no.

    Thanks,
    Monika

    @Monika
    You cannot call mobile numbers in New Zealand with your plan. It is too expensive.

    You can call landlines in New Zealand with your plan using the same access number.

    Active Server Pages error ‘ASP 0126′

    Include file not found

    /eu/suspend.asp, line 156

    The include file ‘footer.shtml’ was not found.

    I get this error while trying to suspend the account. I would like to suspend my account for one month as I am in vocation in India. My billing date is 4th so please do something so that I don’t get charged this month.

    Thanks,

    i started this service probably 10 days back and i was impressed with this service at first.but when i tried the next day with the same numbers to kerala state it says all invalid number,try again.if i try 6-7 times it may connect,but some time it never connect.i never had this problem with other phone cards.also with few land line numbers sound is not at all clear that they cannot hear what i am talking.is this a common issue with this.if so it is too difficult to use this for urgent call as otherwise in terms of min.it is excellent.

    I am a customer of this company since May. I am trying to call an India number since this morning, and continuously getting engaged tone. Tried a couple of numbers, but it was of no use. There is no customer service number in U.S.A. Hence, we are totally helpless. Would be great if you work on this problem and clear the problem right away.

    Thanks.

    Landline routing to some parts of India were having poor completions. We have switched up our carriers and backup routes to those destinations. You should not see any more problems.

    @harry
    Start your call with 01 then the area code to call US and Canada.

  24. August 5th, 2009 at 10:09 | #24

    @Krishna Kumar
    Thanks. We have fixed that and suspend is working again.

    I want to call dubai Mobile from Australia using indiald. Can you tell me how much per min will be charge for me.

    Thanks

  28. April 5th, 2010 at 16:25 | #28

    @Jayaraj
    We do not offer calling to Dubai with IndiaLD.

    @VISHAL
    Dial our access number, at the prompt dial 01144 and the rest of the UK number. Press hash and wait to be connected. We do not offer calling to UK mobiles, just to UK landlines.
