Canada Local Access Numbers Added – Canada Toll Free Discontinued
Some good news and some bad news for our customers up in Canada.
The good news is that we are adding 14 local access numbers in Canada. You can find the number closest to you here. This covers all the major metro areas that our customers are in. If you find that we are missing a metro area, let us know in the comments.
The bad news is that we are discontinuing our toll free access number in Canada. This was not our decision, and we regret having to turn this number off. Our carrier in Canada decided to raise our rates substantially and gave us extremely short notice. Given the new cost of the toll free number, we have to disconnect it or we would be losing money on every call made from Canada. I do not expect us to replace it with another toll free number.
Our toll free number will be disconnected tomorrow, June 24th. The new local access numbers are up and working now. Let me know if you have any troubles with them.

Please note that I need the toll free access number.My nearest metro is calgary which is also long distance for me.
This is not acceptable.
I will not sign up with any Indian company again.

I am sorry that none of our access numbers are a local call for you. Banff is too small a town for us to add an access number. If there is a larger city that is local to you, let us know and we will see if there are numbers available there. If not, we will refund you for any unused balance this month (just email chris@indiald.com if you want a refund).
Again we were taken by surprise by our access number provider. They used some bait and switch tactics to get our business and we are not happy about having to pull our toll free number down.

this is prasanna frm weyburn,saskatchwan,canada…i m really upset and worried about that our canada TOLL FREE number is dis continued..the main reason for purchasin INDIA LD is that we are having a toll free number to call,but now we really dis-appointed,if u ppl think,u can sure restart the TOLL FREE AGIAN,plzz do tat on my behalf request..and the second thing is i m living in WEYBURN in the province SASKATCHWAN,and we dint have any access numbers to our province,do you know callin montreal or calgary from here costa 4 times more for which we call to our home in INDIA by our INDIA LD,i really appreciate your work for us,your giving such a bueatifull offers for us,bt i dint think like you will discontinue your toll free numbers..waitin for your reply and for our TOLLFREE NUMBERS,THANK YOU

We are unable to offer the toll free number anymore because of the cost. We had been getting a good deal on that number and our carrier decided to raise their rates. There is nothing we can do about that. Should a low cost toll free number come up again, we will add this back.
We have checked for access numbers in Saskatchewan with both of our providers and neither offers them, so it looks like you are out of luck.
Any Canada customer who would have to make a long distance call to use our new local access numbers, can request a refund for their account. We will give refund to you the pro-rated amount of your unused minutes for the month.
I am not happy with this decision. I am in NB and cant make make calls to toronto or halifax to connect India. It doesnt suis me anymore.
Something shud be done else for sure u r going to lose many customers, me being one among them.
Hi Chris,
When i call 949-259-9999 I am getting a message, “In the event of a busy signal please the other access number 545 -xxx-yyyy”.
Is it possible to disable this message if there is no busy condition.
Its a bit annoying to hear this message everytime

really i feel bad about this msg chris,ok wen ever u find a low rate toll free pls activate tat,then wat about saskatchwan access number,atleast activate tat,its really very expensive to make a long distance call,pls refer wit u r providers and try to done as soon as possible,pls dont say v cant give access number for saskatchwan,u can givee,pls pls

I am in Charlottetown,PE, Canada and can’t make calls halifax to connect India, which is also a long distance for me. Please do something or i would like to request refund my money into my account.

@prasanna There are no access numbers available in Saskatchewan. I replied above in comment 4 about this. We will give you a refund for any unused minutes on your account, just contact customer service and let them know you are in Canada and we do not offer a access number local to you.

hi chris as i dint get my tollfree num and ther is no access num for my province,i wwould lik to close my account to till date,plsss.
bcos ther is no use calling from another province access number.so without misundrstanding pls re pay the amount..

hi chris i gone to account settings and suspend my account as your FAQ says,and now my acoount says supended,can u pls tel me wen can i get my money back and still now they dint ask my card num for which they are goin to deposit.
