Pick A Winner Contest Results

Sorry for the delay in getting the contest results up, but traveling left me without database access for a few days and I couldn’t update accounts.

Anyway onto the results…I ended up giving away minutes to 45 accounts or so. Well over the 20 I promised, but I am sure you all appreciated the generosity.

The most commonly selected number was 3. Everyone who chose 3 gets the booby prize of 50 minutes.

Next most common was the number 2. You all get 100 free minutes.

Number 4 came next. All those choosing number 4 get 150 free minutes.

The big winner was number 1. The first came in first, so 6 of you get 200 free minutes each.

That contest wraps up our May giveaways and should have put us well over our goal of giving away 10000 free minutes last month.

Check your accounts and you should see your balance increased by the appropriate amount. If I somehow missed you, just email me.

    BTB, Any updates on buying extra minutes? I have still 12 more days to go in this month and I have almost consumed my 3000 mins. I will run into extra usage which is charged at over 3 cents/min.. WHich is not all Fair.. Actually we should be paying less for using more, but here we will be paying more for using more. I guess, you need to do something about this very soon. Or else, you might lose out on potential customers like me.
    I am sorry to say, I will be moving from India LD to one of the unlimited plans from other vendor, very soon. Do you have plans of introducing plans with unlimited calling?

    Hey Chris!

    I don’t know is Chris is a psuedo-name for a marketing team, but hats off to your marketing efforts. I am not the kind of customer who jumps the bandwagon, but I must say, I was impressed by the way you treat your customers.

    I don’t see where else I could find a team that writes a regular blog, replies to customers and even gives away free minutes for twittering. I think the whole twitter thing is a brilliant way of building a loyal customer base.

    Also, I am glad to see that you take what your customers say seriously (in response to the above comment, I saw immediate steps to introduce TopUp minutes and unlimited plans.

    Kudos to the management – you just made a sale!

    Sasi, I am real and not a made up identity. We are a small company so the marketing team consists of me and that’s it.

    Blogging and using twitter has been a great way to connect with our customers and make sure everyone is happy with the product. Hearing from everyone makes it easy for the product team (there are a couple of us on that one) to improve IndiaLD and make it easier to operate. Its also really been a way to differentiate ourselves from some of the BIG conglomerates in our space who might be too busy running their power and construction companies to want to listen to their users. Finally, its just funner this way.

    Anyway, I hope you have a great IndiaLD experience and thanks for signing up. If you ever have any problems, just email me.

    Is this really true that I am seeing some company who really cares for their customers!!! Unbelievable!!! Kudos Chris for all your efforts!!
    I have been browsing for some good rate to make India calls and my friend just recommended me.I am so impressed with the price and even more impressed with the blogging.Someone actually cares and listens to your problems….I mean how cool is tht!!!! I only spent half an hour in site and fell head over heals for this(i recommended this to 2 of my friends already) :) .I am for sure going to ditch all my other calling cards and am so glad to be joining this. Cant thank you enough for providing such great comfort and experience. Thanks guys!!!
